SΛKΛ SØUND is a custom modular high-fidelity sound-system platform designed around deep, dark, bass-heavy electronic music.
What is Kurgan Kingdom?
Kurgan Kingdom is the eventual flagship festival and immersive village. The concept combines music, nature, craftsmanship, food, architecture, camps and community.
Is Kurgan Kingdom a historical reconstruction?
No. The project draws inspiration from Scythian and broader Eurasian material culture, but the intention is to create a contemporary artistic world rather than reproduce a historically exact settlement.
Why is there one main sound system?
The concept is intentionally centered around the SΛKΛ SØUND stage rather than dividing the audience between numerous competing stages. The goal is to create a shared musical experience and give artists room for longer performances.
What happens during the daytime?
The village becomes the center of activity. The concept includes acoustic music, meals, workshops, crafts, art, nature, conversation and other participatory activities.
What happens at night?
Beginning around 8 PM, the village enters a quieter period and the emphasis shifts toward the main SΛKΛ SØUND stage. Long-form electronic performances continue through the night and into sunrise.
How will the project develop?
The current plan is divided into three broad phases: foundation, system and presence, and eventually Kurgan Kingdom. The first phases focus on developing the artist, audience, sound system, products and independent events before the full destination is attempted.
What is the proposed investment structure?
The current plan describes approximately $8,000 units, a maximum of 20 investors, and a collective 20% share of qualifying net event proceeds. The final legal structure has not yet been formalized.
Are investment returns guaranteed?
No. The projections in the business plan are illustrative. Actual results would depend on execution, demand, event margins, regulation, permitting, land, production capacity and other factors.
When could the first full festival happen?
The current business plan estimates approximately four to six years from the beginning of Phase 1 to the first full Kurgan Kingdom Festival, with four years described as optimistic, five as the base case and six as conservative.
